Astro 0820 E14 Taketa Ceiling Light excluding 2 x 40 Watt 230 V Bulbs, Matt Nickel
looks great - but so hard to screw on the glass cover!
Not many square bathroom lights around - so I took a deep breath and bought this rather expensive light fitting.
It does look great - and the electrician screwed on the base fitting to the ceiling without comment, so that couldn't have been too hard.. He left the glass cover off so that I could paint around it before putting on the glass bit ( or did he leave it off because he knew something I didn't!??) Anyway, today we had finished painting so went to screw on the outer glass bit. You have to wiggle it in and then put 4 very small screws in to hold it in place - but it's so close to the ceiling and the actual light gets in the way, so it was VERY tricky! Took 2 of us and 4 cocktail sticks ( to temporarily hold the cover in place before replacing each stick with the proper screw )
The light looks cool - but to have to do that every time a bulb wants changing is a worry :-(
