I wanted these shelves to fit inside a large cupboard to save us the aggro of building shelving. They were the perfect size, but I hadn't accounted for the fact that the cupboard narrowed at the entrance. So I quickly worked out the only way I could fit them would be to make up the shelves inside the cupboard! Surprisingly, this proved not too difficult to achieve. A rubber mallet was a must to bang everything into place. And I don't want to think how we might get them apart again. The worst part of the assembly was joining the second set of uprights, and the instructions could be a lot more helpful. Also the instructions don't mention that, on a larger set, there is an extra support that goes underneath the shelves. We ended up having to fit this at the end, when we ended up with spare parts and had to work out ourselves how they fitted and what they were for.
