wonderful design but the refills need a rethink on price, otherwise fantastic
Firstly I love these little gardens , They are packaged in a lovely cardboard box that shows the product off nicely ,it's presented as a lovely gift and each piece is packaged well so it wount get damaged without some effort.I put it together without the instructions it was very easy to do.The unit comes with a british plug adapter and has a good long cord, it also sits on my kitchen windowsill without overhang ( my windowsill is about 4inches).
The planters are little plastic cup like units with a white cap with a small hole and a dome which you remove when the seeds have germinated,they have a small tube in the bottom which wicks up the water, to water you fill the tank from the top and the water is almost totally sealed so there is alot less humidity lost from the soil than standard ways of watering, the float on the tanks shows you when it is or isn't full.
the light is a good on , just 2 leds and the light reaches the whole unit well , something I have had trouble with...
